VEDIC ART

Vedic Art takes you to the source of your creativity.

Swedish artist Curt Källman developed this art method, which is based on the 17 principles of life and art. The principles are from ancient Veda literature.

The method is learned by doing and experiencing. It is free of all religions, isms, styles, art orientations and types. Everybody regardless of age and background can find the source of creativity within oneself. Along with art, creativity can be used on all areas of life. It can work as therapy although it is not actually a form of therapy.

For the professionals in the field of art, it can bring new insights and aspects to artistic work. Painting is a lifelong process, which one can develop in groups or by oneself.

During the Basic Course you learn by painting and drawing the 17 principles of art and life.

Art is the language of silence, therefore at the Vedic Art course we work in silence. We avoid commenting the paintings and give room for our own process of creativity, we let it flow its own way. Give yourself the calm to rejoice your drawing and painting. Ask your inner judge to be quiet. Also, the teacher withholds from commenting, unless you ask for feedback or advice.

To escort you on the journey to the unforeseen:

See and experience the World and Life in a renewed way.

Wake up your inner Creator, let it loose.

Let it frolic with a child’s innocent enthusiasm.

Enjoy and sense Life ever more fascinating, than you could ever have dreamed of.

MY HISTORY IN THE FIELDS OF ART, IN SHORT

Vedic Art swept me to its flow right from the prime day of my first course. I am one of those people, who regards herself to be totally ungifted in arts, unable to draw or paint anything. Personally, I took a huge step when attending an art course. Nevertheless when, I did, it opened me a completely new world. Vedic Art approaches so tenderly and acceptingly art and creating of it, that all my prejudges and criticism evaporated to thin air. Instead, immense excitement and joy burst out, accompanying the courage to grab a brush and colors.

ART EXHIBITIONS

My astonishment was great, when a framing company keeper in Lauttasaari asked me, if I wanted to exhibit some of my paintings on their shop window. That was my first “art exhibition.”

The next one was in Perniö year 2015. That was a joint exhibition with my painter colleagues.

In summer 2019 I held an art exhibition in Miinan Mökki, in Sammatti with a painter friend of mine.

COURSERS FOR TEACHING

My enthusiasm for Vedic Art has continued throughout many years and I have attended several courses conducted by my dear teacher Marjaana Murto. Luckily, I was also invited to teach. So, I participated teacher training for Basic Course in July 2015.

Because Vedic Art has given me so much, I absolutely want to share this joy of generating art also to others.

I have also performed qualification for keeping Follow-up Courses.
